The project is located in Belleville, on a triangular parcel, at the end of a large perspective with views over the center of Paris. 

This housing project has to complete with different appartment kinds : from the studio to the 3 rooms appartment. The goal is to give the same qualities to each appartment, meaning good exposition, room's modularity, access to an exterior space, views over Paris, etc...

That is why I have made an orthogonal project, extending itself to the perspective and the south. This way, all the appartments are protected by the volumes of the others appartments, but they still can enjoy a beautiful luminosity and good views over the city.

The building is divided in two parts connected through the open metal staircase, covered with plants, like a vegetal breach. The buildings are not at the same level : they are separated by one half level. In this way, the views are limitated from an appartment to the other, and each building is adjusted to reach the differents levels of the streets.

Also, each building answer to a different scale, but each one has is own writting.

Finally, the aesthetic of the building, sober (materiality) but complex (volumetry) is a way to find a connection and an homogeneity with the quite contrasted landscape around.
