The library is developted with a modular and repetitive structure made of wood triangles (glue laminated wood).

The structure has been designed this way to use the direct south sunlight and to diffuse it into the library with the big vertical sheds.

A water bassin in front of the south facade directs the light inside the library and create changing reflections.

The library is organised in strips, from the street to the park. Each strip has its own use and also make a buffer effect for the reading spaces close to the water bassin.

On the first floor we find the work spaces. The zenithal light from te vertical sheds offers a good atmosphere to study.
